How you can get involved with Keep Porirua Beautiful?

You can get involved personally, or through your community organisation.

This year the eyes of the world will be on our environment, in Porirua we would like to assist you with bags and gloves and ask you to roll up your sleeves for Keep New Zealand Beautiful Week 20-27 August 2011.

Our aims

Keep Porirua Beautiful is dedicated to reducing litter and carrying out beautification activities that enhance the physical environment of our City. We will assist community organisations to help us achieve these goals.

We carry out planting of areas in Porirua, supporting Arbor Day and can assist with an Adopt a Spot Project.

Within the community we run the Tidiest Street and Tidiest School Competitions and assist with the Clean Up NZ Week.
