Welcome to Term 3 2010
Hello everyone and welcome to term two of therapeutic riding with Wellington Riding for the Disabled Association.
The second term has started on a great footing thanks to all our wonderful volunteers who do fantastic work helping our riders with disabilities toward confidence, independence and well-being through therapeutic horse riding and horse care.
For this term we will be still riding five days a week Tuesday through Saturday including individuals and a number of large school groups. Below is our programme for term 3
Programme for Term 3 20 July to 25 September 2010
Tuesday - Paremata School have 9 children join us each Tuesday afternoon. In the mornings the Argo Trust bring 2 riders, Kapi Mana School brings one rider and one other individual rider joins us. The Essenic Trust also have 4 people who continue to join us for a range of non-riding activities
Wednesday - 8 riders from Kimi Ora School join us for their riding activities in the mornings and 2 individual riders attend in the afternoon
Thursdays – St Francis de Sales School takes a break for two Terms and Johnsonville School will be joining us in their place with up to 8 riders on a Thursday morning. Mana College also has 3 riders with us in the afternoon.
Fridays – Currently 2 individual riders join us on a Friday.
Saturday – 11 individuals are riding in groups on Saturday mornings.
