Welcome to Term 1 2012

 

Hello everyone and welcome to Term one for 2012 of therapeutic riding with Wellington Riding for the Disabled Association.

This new year has started on a great footing thanks to all our wonderful volunteers who do fantastic work helping our riders with disabilities toward confidence, independence and wel-being through therapeutic horse riding and horse care.

NEW PROPERTY

The focus for this term is also finding a new property as we are needing to relocate over the next few months.  Relocation is coming at a huge cost (approx $700,000); but on the bright side of things the facility that we would like to build is an under cover all weather arena.  This will be fabulous for both riders and volunteers.  Have a look at our "Getting Involved" page to see how you can become part of WRDA.

So like never before we need your help.  We have many ways that you can become involved in both WRDA and the relocation project.
