Pauatahanui Inlet Cleanup

The annual Pauatahanui Inlet Cleanup is always popular, and despite the sometimes inclement weather, everyone from children to grandparents turn up to clean up the Inlet.  A BBQ is always welcome at the end of the day, along with a truck load of rubbish to dispose of.

Foreshore cleanup

Occasionally corporate groups come to Porirua to help clean up our city as part of a corporate team day.  When over 100 employees from ACC arrived, they were broken up into teams and sent off around the city.  Here's one group covering part of Porirua Harbour's foreshore.
