Typical Meeting Format
A typical Toastmasters meeting format usually begins with the Chairperson opening the meeting and welcoming any guests.
The Grammarian may announce the word of the day or theme for the meeting.
The meeting then proceeds with Table Topics, then 2-4 prepared speeches followed by evaluations.
We always have a break in the middle of the meeting for supper.
Near the end of the meeting, the President announces any general business, and the grammarian/timekeeper reports are delivered.
Finally the General Evaluator sums up the organisation and running of the meeting, and evaluates the evaluators.
The Chairperson then closes the meeting.
